I have just begun to use a new die cutting machine and have been playing with a new die, that I thought looked so pretty if you love the filigree style……thanks to Crafters Companion for the machine and the butterfly die.

I have always wanted to try making cards with napkins, as there are some beautiful napkins available…. I found this one tucked away in a kitchen drawer…..ordered some specialist napkin glue, watched a tutorial video from Upcycle With Decoupage….you can follow them on Facebook. So found a flat brush and a piece of card and painted the single ply piece of napkin onto the white card. I left it to dry for an hour and then used a Tonic die in my lovely old Grand Caliber machine. …..and created the topper for a scallop white 6 inches by 6 inches card. Am pretty delighted with my first attempt…..have a go, it was a relaxing project. Love Holly xx
